Welcome to the CLSG 

About CLSG

The Copyright Licensing Steering Group (CLSG) was set up in November 2012 and is one of the key recommendations from the report Copyright Works: Streamlining copyright licensing for the digital age (Richard Hooper CBE and Dr Ros Lynch, July 2012).

The CLSG is the overall steering group which will oversee the implementation of the primary recommendations of the Report and will ensure continued cross-sector collaboration
 focused on further streamlining of copyright licensing.

Membership

James Lancaster, former Head of Rights and Business Affairs at the BBC will chair the CLSG. CLSG membership is made up of senior representatives from the creative industries as well as the Chairs of the different work streams.

Copyright Licensing Coordination Office

The Copyright Licensing Coordination Office (CLCO) is an industry-funded office established to drive forward progress across all work streams as well as providing secratariat support for the CLSG itself.
